The challenge Physitrack is a cloud-based platform for therapists that allows them to connect with their patients, prescribe exercises and track their progress. The platform combines personalized home exercises with educational content, animations, and anatomy slides. To reach therapists and access their exercise plans, patients use the free PhysiApp. Big healthcare organizations can design their own, branded versions of PhysiApp. A couple of years ago, Physitrack’s co-founder wanted to grow the development team and gather it under one roof. As a result, Prograils took over the project in 2018.
The solution After the code review, together with an external sysops company, we migrated and set the service up on Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. As expected, it made Physitrack’s future scaling much easier.
The outcome After the migration, Physitrack’s total number of assigned programs doubled per week, while their number exceeded 100,000 per month. Also, the number of the branded apps rose by over 100% during our cooperation with Physitrack. In 2020, Physitrack launched its servers in 4 new countries. The platform continues to attract new customers. We are happy to be playing a role in the its ongoing development.
In short, I can say that Prograils is one of the best things that have happened to our company. They have a great culture and a gelled team. They are sharp, polite, punctual, transparent and proactive. This is why they match our way of working rather well.
